The time it takes to live my life is ridiculous! I need 36 hours in a day just to feel like I've done something productive! I planned on writing during the holidays, but it didn't work out that way. I have two handful little boys who keep me on my toes, but also eat up a lot of my personal time. I've started cleaning my office hoping to start 2014 off on the right foot. Less clutter, more time, because wether I'm cleaning or not the clutter makes me not want to do anything or do everything....
I've been trying to write this all day! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve, a great Christmas..... 2 lazy days, a day of cleaning and my birthday! Now we are preparing for New Years and starting 2014 off right! I have many superstitions I have to follow pork (because it doesn't have wings!), black eyed peas (for luck!), collard greens (for money!), corn bread (I don't know what this is I just love it haha). You don't take anything old out of the house, nor do you bring in anything new. The house on New Years Eve needs to be clean and have as little clutter as possible for if it's cluttered come the first it's a tell of what you'll have all year! The list could probably go on and on.... however on the 2nd it will be a brand new year, I don't however make resolutions, I feel they are a list of things I will resolve to do and I never will. So this year I want to make a goal jar and write all the things I want to do in 2014 more like aspirations than a resolution.
I have so much I want to do this year and I'm learning just how long 364 days are! (Because like I said the 2nd will be a BRAND NEW YEAR! haha) I have books to get that day because my classes will start 6 days later and I want to be prepared! I have a lot to do tomorrow to make sure my office is somewhat uncluttered to start the new off right. I would love to do a 365 photo project.... a picture for everyday.... doesn't matter what it is, I want to write on here more I have so much I want to share! I want my business established by this time next year, and I want another baby in the oven by then too! But I need to loose about 60 pounds first and so I'd love to share that too! I really do want this blog to be great so please just hang with me and give me till the holidays pass..... GREAT things! I PROMISE!!!
Please have a safe and wonderful new year and I will see you back here on the 2nd..... A BRAND NEW YEAR!!! ;)
This is where I want to write about my life. I'm a military wife, a mom and so much more as a person. Please enjoy.

This journey….
This journey to find myself has been a long one, it hasn't been easy and I'm glad I finally made it to where I needed to be for so long.....
Growing up wasn't the easiest or the best thing and quite honestly I want to write a book about it I'm just not sure where to start.
I was married at 17, I was a mom for the first time at 18, for the second time at 21 and now in 6 days I'll be 25. Married for 7 years, and mom to two wonderful boys, 3 and 6. I've moved 7 times and not all of them were because of PCS.
I've learned in the last 5 months, I am enough, I don't need anyone to tell me that and so I've made a vow. For the rest of the year I am not allowed to stress, big or small it doesn't matter anyway. What's done is done and I will enjoy the time off with my children. I will watch and learn from them. I will photograph them and learn from that. I will grow through them and with them and get back to why I wanted to have my heart outside of my body in the first place.
My oldest goes back to school on the 13th of January I go back on the 8th, until these dates I will be solely focused on my children and letting them I love them more than they will ever understand (ever, because they will grow up to be dad's and I just don't think it's the same for them.... haha).
I hope to post what we do and the things we learn. I want to write again and I'm finally at a place where I am able to do that, if I don't write I can't sleep.
So things on the list are to enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and milk, and watch Christmas movies all day tomorrow (after a last minute trip to Walmart, yes I'm crazy) and some light cleaning. We will open up our Christmas eve presents which are always P.J.'s and this year I've added house shoes! :) It is my favorite time of year despite my husband being the Grinch (haha he isn't that bad and he "entertains me"). I am excited for the next couple of days and I know the boys will love it..... Hopefully being "lazy" won't be hated and instead will be loved. We will have a Pot Roast for dinner and that means NO COOKING for me which is great since I will cook ALL day on Christmas, but we are small group and so it really isn't that bad!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting I'm new and I am trying so bare with me getting to this new place I think it's going to become easier!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Are you finished yet?
I came up with this title because I feel as though in my life we are never finished UNLESS it comes to being pregnant or going through a deployment. We finish those and begin new adventures. Other than that we are never finished.
Never finished cleaning,
cooking,
folding laundry,
teaching,
learning,
loving,
unpacking……
This list goes on and on for me. The military spouse who is a stay at home mom and full time student with anyone remotely capable of helping us over 800 miles away. I have a bad habit of never finishing what I start, and I wanted to start this blog to show I can finish and not finish something all at the same time. Although, I hope this blog is never finished I vow to write at least once a week about something. Cooking, parenting, college, marriage, military life….. all of it and some of it and the good and the bad. It's an outlet for me and hopefully funny and enlightening to you. I'm on this crazy journey with a handful of people and adding anyone extra just seems like a gift. Hang tight with me as I try to finish something for once…..

My life….
If you are a stay at home mom, this blog is for you.... If you are a Marine wife, this blog is for you.... If you are both.... Welcome to the madness and PLEASE leave lots of comments!
When you are married to a Marine the places you won't go and the things you will see. My husband works on Harriers and in his job he can go to Cherry Point and Yuma. We've been to both as of date. We've been to Cherry Point twice now.... there isn't anything here, and for growing up in the south, in the middle of nowhere, this place is worse than that. But we make the most of a situation we cannot change and I will too make this place happy and working!
We have two small boys! (yay!) I had no idea how different boys were until I had them and they got a little age under their belt! I have to say they are doing well and I couldn't be happier to see them adjusting so well. Now only if they would listen!
I am a full time student, on top, of everything else working towards two degrees and two workforce developments. I stay busy all the time and the one thing I've never much worried about has caught up to me and is starting to scare me. You probably know exactly what I am going to say..... My weight, my health, mentally, emotionally, physically.... I am falling apart and I couldn't be more upset with myself. I have been through a lot in my life and I have never let it affect me this way. I've decided and done a lot of preparing for this journey and tomorrow starts the day.
I will be real honest with myself from this point out and I am hoping all of you can help with that! I have to get this under control, or I may never be able to get it under control.
I hope everyone will enjoy my blog and find help or even comfort in knowing we all just human....
